Based in the Sigmaringen area, I focus on capturing genuine family moments that last a lifetime. I’m Katja — a warm, patient photographer with deep experience in maternity, newborn, baby and children photography. My aim is to create images that tell your family’s story: tender gestures, laughter, and the small everyday moments that become precious memories. My approach is calm and relaxed. Working with children (and animals) requires time, sensitivity and a playful touch to let authentic moments unfold. I photograph families outdoors—where children can move and be themselves—or in my small daylight studio when the situation calls for it. Creating a comfortable, pressure-free atmosphere is central: only when everyone feels at ease do natural, emotional photos appear. Before the session we talk through your wishes, locations and the mood you want. On the day I guide you gently, offer creative prompts and leave space for spontaneity. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the best images so you receive timeless, authentic photos you’ll love for years. Since 2022 I also offer short family films as an add-on. I capture moving footage during the shoot and edit it into a heartfelt 1–2 minute film that complements your photos and preserves movement and sound. Whether it’s maternity, newborn, children’s portraits, baptisms, communions or birthday moments, I accompany you with patience, creativity and a sincere interest in your family.
