Domis Blickwinkel offers warm, authentic family photography in a cozy studio in Rastatt. Since 2010 I have been photographing families with patience, a trained eye and genuine care — my goal is to create images that still feel intimate and alive years from now. As a former early-childhood educator I naturally connect with children: I meet them at eye level, allow time for play, and create a calm environment where real moments can unfold. Why choose me? I combine technical skill, safety and a sensitive approach. My images focus on connection and personality rather than stiff poses. For maternity and newborn sessions I bring additional expertise in safe handling, gentle posing and a relaxed pace. I also edit the images myself to achieve a slightly artistic yet natural look so you still recognise yourselves instantly in the photos. How I work: From first contact to final delivery you will be personally guided. You receive helpful information beforehand — for example the best timing for maternity and newborn shoots — and during the session I allow breaks, closeness and playful moments. My studio offers over 50 professional dresses, bodies and hand-crafted pieces so you can try different looks. Children often warm up quickly thanks to the little play corner and sometimes my puppet Olaf helps to loosen things up. My promise is to give you time, safety and a relaxed experience: thoughtful pacing, loving care for babies and children, and images that transport you back to that special day. I work mainly with families from Rastatt, Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe and the Murgtal.
