Hi, I'm Carmen — a wedding and family photographer based in Esslingen. My work focuses on honest, vibrant images that show the connections and everyday moments of family life. Whether it's maternity, a newborn or playful children, I aim to capture real moments rather than posed perfection: cuddles, spontaneous fun on the playground, or a quiet reading moment. With extensive experience as a wedding photographer, I have developed a discreet, observant approach that I bring to family sessions as well. I offer gentle direction where needed but mostly let your family be itself. The result are photos where you genuinely recognise yourselves — not forced smiles, but authentic memories. I love homestory sessions because the first weeks with a baby are best told at home. For newborn photography I come to your home: no placing the baby in props, but your child in your arms, during feeding or sleeping on mum or dad. I also enjoy outdoor sessions — family photos at sunset or in the vineyards around Esslingen create a warm, timeless atmosphere. As a mother of two boys I understand how children behave and how to engage them playfully during a shoot. My aim is always the same: an enjoyable experience for the whole family and images that will move you for years to come. Before the session we discuss wishes, routines and suitable locations or outfits so the shoot day is relaxed and joyful.
