I'm Mel from Messer Photo & Design — a family photographer serving Backnang and the Stuttgart area. My passion is capturing the real connections within families through natural, authentic images. Trained as a photographer and designer, I create photographs that not only look beautiful but also tell your story. My working style is calm, empathetic and personal: before every session we have a conversation so I understand your wishes and how you want to be photographed. Whether we shoot outdoors in nature or in my bright daylight studio, I make sure you feel comfortable. The studio features two carefully styled sets, a generous client wardrobe to borrow from, a fitting room and a play corner for little ones — all to keep the session relaxed and fun. I focus on family and children photography — from babies and newborn sessions to maternity, generation shoots and first birthday moments. My aesthetic is warm, light and authentic: I avoid overly posed shots and prefer gentle guidance, small prompts and humor so real looks, touches and laughter are captured. As an aunt of many, I have experience making children feel at ease in front of the camera. In addition to family work, newborn photography and wedding reportage are core parts of my offering. I also document smaller family events like baptisms, communions or children’s birthday celebrations as part of family photography, creating lasting memories for you.
